If you require a home visit or medical advice between 6.00 pm and 8.00 am, weekends or public holidays, your call will be taken by NHS 24 - Tel No. 08454 24 24 24.
If you need to call NHS 24 the nurses will take the details of your call and determine whether an ambulance, the GP on call or advice is the most appropriate way to deal with the problem. The nurses answering the phone will be using computer-aided advice systems. Please be patient if you are asked a lot of questions. This is only being done to improve the quality of service.
