How to make an appointment
A 10 minute appointment system is in operation in our surgery. If you think your problem will take longer than this to deal with please ask for a double appointment when calling. PLEASE NOTE - ONE PATIENT PER APPOINTMENT! Urgent cases will always be seen on the same day. For non-urgent cases every effort will be made to ensure that your appointment is as early as is convenient. If you are requesting an appointment with a specific doctor the wait may be longer but we will try to make it as soon as possible. Children under 12 should always be accompanied by an adult.
If you are aged between 16-75 and have not been seen at the surgery for three years you can request a check up appointment with the practice nurse. If you are over 75 and have not been seen for over one year you can request a check up appointment.

How to request a home visit
Home visits should only be requested if you are too unwell or infirm to travel to the surgery. If you are not well enough to attend the surgery and wish to request a home visit, PLEASE TELEPHONE BEFORE 10 A.M.
It is helpful when requesting a home visit if you can give the receptionist some idea of the nature of the illness or problem. This is in order to give the doctor an idea of the degree of urgency of the visit. This information will be treated in strict confidence.

Telephone Consultation
In addition to face-to-face consultations, we also offer telephone consultations. This is an easy and convenient way for you to access your GP without the necessity of coming into the surgery. The system is simple: you make the appointment with the reception staff, they take a contact number where you will be at the time and the GP will telephone you for the consultation. Please don't be worried if they are slightly late calling you.
